| The adaptive reuse of an auto transmission shop to specialty retail and restaurant. An adjacent parking lot was converted to a pedestrian plaza and an arcade was cut into a clay tile wall to create storefronts.
The design avoids a particular style, in favor of response to the natural materials and diverse urban character of its warehouse context. |
