The Dobbins Hall addition provides adult church school classrooms upstairs, while providing for kindergarten and first grade classrooms for St. James Elementary School at the ground floor. The design created a patio at Dobbins Hall that provides a wind-sheltered extension of the cloister garden across the street, while maintaining views to Corpus Christi Bay from the main church entry.
